i've decided that i needed to post something. it's been ages. and honestly, what's the point of having a blog if i never write in it?
my brain feels like exploding. there's too much to think about. i have an exam today in chemistry, pre-calc (trigonometry), and a take-home test for German. At least i don't really have to think about the German test today, but with dance festival tomorrow, i probably should at least get part of it out to the way tonight.
right now, i'm trying not to think about chemistry or math. i've gotten my studying out of the way and i just don't want to think about it anymore. but that's just the thing--not thinking about it requires me to put effort into thinking about something else, and the thing that usually comes to mind is dance festival tomorrow. it's going to be crazy, and i don't want to think about that yet (either). maybe tomorrow morning i'll be ready to fathom the idea that this dance festival is here and actually going to happen. it's been one of those things that you prepare and practice for, but don't really think all that much about the end result, until it's staring you in the face. it actually reminds me of tests--the ones you really have to study for.
my brain honestly feels like it's being pulled in four-billion different directions: dance festival, tests i have to take, cosine waves, sine waves, cosecants, radians, pi, work (not so bad, but it takes up time), things i should do, things i absolutely need to do... bah. maybe i just need more sleep.
between school and work, there's almost no time for some real relaxation--sure, a few minutes here and there (like right now, but it's not as relaxing as it could be. i'd rather be at home than at school in the tech center--i could be taking a nap!), but not as much as is needed, i think.
okay, i'm complaining. and not making much sense i'm sure. and it's time to go take a chemistry test. it'll be fine.
after this weekend, i hope there'll be time for my brain to bounce back to it's normal shape. although i'm thinking that isn't likely to happen fully until this quarter is over.
